Sigma Theta Pi

Sigma Theta Pi is a fraternity as you can see in some american movies but it is more. In fact, we are the biggest french-speaking fraternity around the world..

We are born in 2003 in Grenoble by the willingness of four students: Julien Caudroit Van Cauwenberghe, Sylvain Duboÿs, Arias Maingre and Thommy Coula.

Now we have 4 chapters in Canada ( Montréal- Quebec - Saint John's- Sherbrooke) and 8 in France ( Grenoble-Amiens-Bordeaux- Lilles- Nancy- Dijon- Paris -Lyon). We are part of the Greek Community like others fraternities in United States or in Canada but we distingued from others by our values:

- Academic excellence.

Every brother of Sigma Thêta Pi must conserved an average of 2.3/4 or equivalent in France during its studies.

- Sport Excellence

Every Brother of Sigma Thêta Pi must take care of himself and his body this is why everyone of them must succeed a test at the beginning of every session.

- Philanthropy

Every Brother of Sigma Thêta Pi must participate in 2 philanthropic events per session under the direction of the philanthropic responsible.

I choose to be part of this fraternity because I find myself in their values and their behaviour - peaceful, gentleman, relax in case of trouble, leader ... - but also because thanks to alumni community, I can have access to a large network which can be helpful for my professionnal development.
